Position: Senior Mechanical System Engineer

Location: Zurich, Switzerland

Contract: Permanent contract, full-time position

Our teams work closely with leading aerospace organizations to develop high-quality engineering documentation supporting aircraft development, certification, and maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Systems Engineer activities for ATA 38 Water Waste System and ATA 26 Fire Protection Equipment on next-generation aircraft platforms.
• Capture and verify system requirements and produce technical requirements documentation.
• Ensure verification and compliance with FAR/EASA-CS Part 23 regulations.
• Prepare Certification Engineering Reports for submission to EASA.
• Provide technical management of vendor development projects.
• Define specifications for small electrical actuators for aircraft doors.

Our Ideal Candidate Should Have

• University degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in aerospace mechanical systems in development, integration, and certification.
• Proven experience in systems development engineering for one or more aircraft systems.
• Knowledge of electrical integration is a plus.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good command of English is mandatory; knowledge of German is an advantage.
