Help Our Clients Successfully Manage Global Challenges

As a Manager in our growing business tax team, you will provide tax technology advisory and implementation services to our clients. You will engage with global projects and collaborate with your team to deliver leading services on global tax technology to international organizations. Your primary focus will be on technology addressing direct tax process challenges, including tax accounting, BEPS 2.0 / Pillar 2 (“GloBE”), and direct tax compliance. Ultimately, you will enable our clients to successfully navigate the evolving Swiss and international tax landscape.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Collaborate with your team to develop best-practice solutions, assisting clients in analyzing and implementing processes to tackle the challenges posed by GloBE.
• Utilize knowledge of Deloitte’s Pillar Two Agent to advise clients, tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs.
• Conduct client demonstrations of Deloitte’s Pillar Two Agent tool, alongside other GloBE, tax provision, and automation technologies.
• Train your team to deliver live software demonstrations effectively.
• Respond to clients’ needs to provide optimal advice on tax technology and broader tax process issues.
• Adopt a pragmatic approach to addressing client challenges in tax technology, especially regarding GloBE.
• Coordinate and supervise international teams in implementing tax technology, managing client demands while maintaining an overview of status and requirements.
• Engage with subject matter experts to deliver the best possible advice to our clients.
• Guide clients in enhancing their operating strategies, organization of tax functions, tax processes, and tax risk management.
• Support clients and your team in adapting to the digital age by staying current with technologies and innovations in tax.

Who We Are Looking For

• Strong experience in data transformation, including the development of extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes and data transformation pipelines.
• Capabilities in addressing complex issues and presenting to clients, facilitating technical discussions on global tax tools while customizing solutions to meet client-specific requirements.
• Experience in developing tax technology solutions, including the collection and implementation of client requirements and change requests.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Alteryx, Excel VBA, and Power Query, along with programming skills in Python or SQL, particularly for manipulating large datasets and developing client solutions.
• Previous support in bids and proposals as part of a client advisory team.
• Ideally, familiarity with Agile, Lean, and/or Scrum methodologies.
• Fluent communication in English; knowledge of German or French is advantageous but not mandatory.
