Help our clients successfully manage global challenges

As a Manager in our growing business tax team, you will provide tax technology advisory and implementation services to our clients. You will work on global engagements and collaboratively with your team to offer international organizations leading services in global tax technology. Your primary focus will be on technology addressing direct tax process challenges, including tax accounting, BEPS 2.0 / Pillar 2 (“GloBE”), and direct tax compliance. You will empower clients to navigate the evolving Swiss and international tax landscape.

How you can make an impact

• Work with your team to develop best-practice solutions and assist clients in designing, analyzing, and implementing processes to tackle GloBE challenges.
• Apply knowledge of Deloitte’s Pillar Two Agent to provide tailored advice and implement solutions that meet clients' specific needs.
• Conduct client demonstrations of Deloitte’s Pillar Two Agent tool, as well as other GloBE, tax provision, and automation technologies.
• Train your team to deliver live software demonstrations effectively.
• Actively listen to and respond to clients’ needs, providing appropriate advice on tax technology and broader tax process issues.
• Approach client challenges in tax technology pragmatically, particularly with regard to GloBE.
• Coordinate and supervise international teams to implement tax technologies, managing client demands while maintaining an overview of the project status and requirements.
• Integrate input from subject matter experts to ensure clients receive the best possible advice.
• Advise clients on enhancing their operating strategies, tax function organization, tax processes, and tax risk management.
• Support clients and teams in the transition to the digital era, staying updated with the latest technologies and innovations in tax.

Who we are looking for

• Strong experience in data transformation, including building extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes, data transformation pipelines, and APIs.
• Experience presenting to clients and leading technical conversations on global tax tools, customizing solutions for client-specific needs.
• Contributed to the development of tax technology solutions, encompassing the collection and execution of client requirements and change requests.
• Proficient in automation tools such as Alteryx, Excel VBA, Power Query, and programming languages like Python or SQL, especially in manipulating large datasets to create client solutions.
• Supported bidding and proposal processes as part of a client advisory team.
• Ideally, you possess Agile, Lean, or Scrum experience.
• Fluent communication skills in English are essential; knowledge of German or French is a plus but not a requirement.
