Help Our Clients Successfully Manage Global Challenges

As a Manager in our expanding business tax team, you will provide tax technology advisory and implementation services to our clients. You will work on global engagements, collaborating with your team to deliver leading services on global tax technology to international organizations. Your main focus will be on technology for direct tax process challenges, including tax accounting, BEPS 2.0 / Pillar 2 (GloBE), and direct tax compliance. Ultimately, you will enable our clients to navigate the evolving Swiss and international tax landscape successfully.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Collaborate with your team to develop best-practice solutions, supporting clients in analyzing and implementing processes to address GloBE challenges.
• Utilize knowledge of Deloitte’s Pillar Two Agent to advise clients and implement tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.
• Conduct client demonstrations of Deloitte’s Pillar Two Agent tool and other GloBE, tax provision, and automation technologies.
• Train your team to deliver live software demonstrations.
• Understand and respond to clients’ needs to provide appropriate advice on tax technology and broader tax process issues.
• Adopt a pragmatic approach to resolving client challenges in tax technology, particularly related to GloBE.
• Coordinate and supervise international teams in tax technology implementation, effectively managing client demands while maintaining an overview of project status and requirements.
• Incorporate insights from subject matter experts to deliver the best solutions to clients.
• Guide clients in enhancing their operating strategies, organization of tax functions, tax processes, and tax risk management.
• Support clients and teams in adapting to the digital age while staying informed about innovations in tax technology.

Who We Are Looking For

• Strong experience in data transformation, including building extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes, data transformation pipelines, and APIs.
• Proven ability to resolve complex issues and present findings to clients, leading technical discussions on global tax tools while adapting solutions to their unique needs.
• Experience in developing tax technology solutions that involve gathering and implementing client requirements and change requests.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Alteryx, Excel VBA, Power Query, as well as programming in Python or SQL, particularly in manipulating large datasets to build client solutions.
• Experience in supporting bids and proposals as part of a client advisory team.
• Ideally, experience with Agile, Lean, and/or Scrum methodologies.
• Fluent communication skills in English; knowledge of German or French is an advantage but not essential.
