Our Actuarial team provides a comprehensive range of actuarial support in the areas of life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We regularly collaborate with other teams in Audit & Assurance, as well as with other lines of services, including Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation, on large-scale projects.

In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from day one and will have day-to-day responsibilities to deliver reliable solutions.

How you can make an impact

• Acting as the main point of contact for pension topics for Deloitte Switzerland.
• Directly leading a variety of client projects, such as M&A transactions, audits for pension funds, and valuations.
• Managing the lifecycle of projects from proposals, contracting, delivery, to invoicing.
• Business development: identification of business ideas and opportunities, and generation of new business with internal and external clients.
• Participating in and leading thought leadership initiatives.
• Overseeing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from finding and training new talent to performance reviews and promotions.

Who we are looking for

• A University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Qualification as "Actuary SAA" or an equivalent certification.
• Experience in an actuarial position within the insurance industry or in consulting.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, coupled with a genuine willingness to learn and make an impact.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Confident communication skills in both German and English.
• Proven experience in business development.
