How You Can Make an Impact
As a Data Architect in our AI & Data team, you will guide senior stakeholders at our clients in making the right architectural choices while leading the design and implementation of innovative enterprise-wide solutions.

Lead Enterprise Data Architecture Design: Assist clients in modernizing complex system landscapes that integrate multiple solutions (e.g., MDM, CRM, ERP, Cloud DWH). Collaborate with senior client stakeholders to design enterprise-level architecture, create pragmatic and enforceable architecture standards, and plan the modernization journey.

Lead Cloud Data Platform Design & Implementation: Help clients establish scalable, high-performance Cloud data platforms that meet their business needs. Your work will encompass data modeling, integration, transformation pipelines, DevOps, and the smart application of AI to develop and operate these platforms.

Architect Integrated Solutions: Assist clients in designing and constructing the integrations necessary to run their business processes and deliver data products, including connections between Cloud data platforms and AI/Gen AI platforms, or between MDM/CRM systems and Cloud data platforms.

Strengthen our Market Positioning: Lead our architecture initiatives through events, conferences, and discussions with key clients, internal teams, and alliance partners.

Develop Internal Expertise: Mentor junior team members within AI & Data and set strategic frameworks for building expertise in Switzerland and with near- and offshore teams.
What We Are Looking For
Experience
- You have 4 or more years of relevant professional experience as a Data Architect, leading teams in designing and implementing complex cloud-based ecosystems.
- You possess an engineering background and have hands-on experience in end-to-end data platform implementations (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake).
- You have experience evaluating and making data architecture decisions, influencing strategic direction, and convincing business and IT stakeholders.
- You have guided data engineers in adopting best coding practices and are familiar with industry coding quality tools such as SonarQube and AI coding assistants integrated into IDEs.
- You possess experience with various database types, including structured (relational), semi-structured (NoSQL), and graph-based (knowledge graph) models.
- Nice to have: Experience in packaging data platform solutions into Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform.

- Strong client-facing presence, capable of connecting with senior stakeholders, building relationships, and converting opportunities into projects.
- Excellent abstract reasoning skills enabling comprehension of enterprise-level, solution-level, and operational concepts and their integration into cohesive solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to articulate viewpoints effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven team leadership capabilities, including partnership with external teams, estimating and planning work, and coaching team members to achieve optimal client outcomes.
Technical Expertise
- Strong skills in modeling methods with experience or certifications from DAMA, TOGAF, or equivalent:
- Conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Dimensional modeling.
- Data Vault.
- Design of normalized and denormalized schemas for analytical and operational workloads.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms:
- AWS
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Azure
- Expertise in architecting modern data platforms (Lakehouse, Medallion, Lambda, event-driven) in Snowflake and/or Databricks.
- Ability to estimate implementation efforts and lead delivery teams, creating architecture blueprints and solution design documents.
- Use of GenAI capabilities to enhance delivery and operations.
- Data Integration & ETL experience, including designing integration layer architecture from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, operational databases, APIs, files).
- Nice to have: Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica or DBT.
- Expertise in metadata and event-driven architecture with a capacity to articulate best practices for capturing metadata within data pipelines.
- Familiarity with programming frameworks and data formats, including SQL, Python, Spark, relational and NoSQL databases, knowledge graphs, and big data file formats (Parquet, Iceberg).
Language Proficiency
Fluent in English; fluency in German and/or French is highly preferred.
