Our Actuarial team provides a comprehensive range of actuarial support in the fields of life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, as well as pension funds. We regularly collaborate with other teams in Audit & Assurance and across various service lines, such as Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation, on large-scale projects.

In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from the outset and will have day-to-day responsibilities to deliver reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Act as the main point of contact for pension topics for Deloitte Switzerland.
• Lead a variety of client projects, including M&A transactions, audits for pension funds, and valuations.
• Manage the lifecycle of projects from proposals and contracting to delivery and invoicing.
• Engage in business development by identifying business ideas and opportunities and generating new business with internal and external clients.
• Participate in and lead thought leadership initiatives.
• Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, training, performance reviews, and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

• You hold a University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
• You are a qualified actuary “Actuary SAA” or equivalent.
• You have experience in an actuarial position, whether within the insurance industry or in consulting.
• You possess excellent analytical and communication skills, coupled with a genuine eagerness to learn and make a difference, and enjoy collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• You communicate confidently in German and English with various stakeholders.
• You have a proven track record in business development.
