Help Our Clients Successfully Manage Global Challenges

Our Actuarial team provides a comprehensive range of actuarial support across life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We collaborate regularly with teams in Audit & Assurance and other service lines, including Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation, on large-scale projects.

In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from the outset and will have day-to-day responsibilities to deliver reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Serve as the primary point of contact for pension topics within Deloitte Switzerland.
• Lead a variety of client projects, including M&A transactions, audits for pension funds, and valuations.
• Manage the lifecycle of projects from proposals and contracting to delivery and invoicing.
• Drive business development efforts by identifying business opportunities and generating new business with internal and external clients.
• Participate in and lead thought leadership initiatives.
• Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruiting and training new talent to conducting performance reviews and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

• A University degree (ETH or similar) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Qualification as an actuary “Actuary SAA” or an equivalent designation.
• Experience in an actuarial position, either in the insurance industry or consulting.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, along with a strong willingness to learn and make a difference; able to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in German and English, confidently communicating with stakeholders at various levels.
• Proven experience in business development.
