Our Actuarial team provides a full range of actuarial support in the areas of life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We regularly collaborate with other teams in Audit & Assurance as well as with diverse lines of service, including Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation, on large-scale projects.

In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from day one and will take on day-to-day responsibilities to deliver reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Act as the main point of contact for pension topics for Deloitte Switzerland.
• Directly lead a variety of client projects, including M&A transactions, audits for pension funds, or valuations.
• Manage the lifecycle of projects from proposals and contracting to delivery and invoicing.
• Engage in business development: identify new business ideas and opportunities, generating new business with internal and external clients.
• Participate in and lead thought leadership initiatives.
• Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including finding, acquiring, and training new talent, conducting performance reviews, and managing promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

• A University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
• A qualified actuary (“Actuary SAA”) or equivalent.
• Experience in an actuarial position either in the insurance industry or consulting.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with a strong willingness to learn and make a difference; enjoy working collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Confidence in communicating in both German and English with various levels of stakeholders.
• Proven business development experience.
