Help Our Clients Manage Global Challenges

Our Actuarial team provides a comprehensive range of actuarial support in the areas of life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We frequently collaborate with other teams in Audit & Assurance, as well as other lines of service, including Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation, on large-scale projects.

In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from day one, with responsibilities that include delivering reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Act as the main point of contact for pension topics for Deloitte Switzerland.
  • Directly lead a variety of client projects, including M&A transactions, audits for pension funds, and valuations.
  • Manage the lifecycle of projects from proposals and contracting to delivery and invoicing.
  • Drive business development by identifying new ideas and opportunities, generating new business with internal and external clients.
  • Participate in and lead thought leadership initiatives.
  • Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from acquiring and training talent to conducting performance reviews and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

  • A University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
  • Qualification as an actuary (“Actuary SAA”) or equivalent.
  • Experience in an actuarial position within the insurance industry or in consulting.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, accompanied by a genuine willingness to learn and contribute positively to a team.
  • Proficient communication skills in both German and English, capable of engaging with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development.
