Our Actuarial team is dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of actuarial support across various domains, including life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We collaborate closely with other teams in Audit & Assurance and across various service lines, such as Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation, to tackle large-scale projects effectively.

In this position, you will integrate into an experienced project team from day one, taking on daily responsibilities that allow you to deliver reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for pension-related matters at Deloitte Switzerland.
  • Lead a diverse array of client projects, including M&A transactions, pension fund audits, and valuations.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects from proposal development through contracting, delivery, and invoicing.
  • Drive business development by identifying opportunities and generating new business with internal and external clients.
  • Participate in and lead thought leadership initiatives.
  • Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

  • A University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
  • Qualification as an actuary “Actuary SAA” or equivalent.
  • Experience in an actuarial role within the Insurance industry or Consulting.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with a genuine eagerness to learn and make a difference, and enjoy collaborating with diverse individuals.
  • Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Demonstrable business development experience.
