Our Actuarial team provides a comprehensive range of support in life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We regularly collaborate with other teams in Audit & Assurance, as well as with various lines of service, including Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation, on large-scale projects.

In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from day one and will take on daily responsibilities to deliver reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Serve as the main point of contact for pension topics for Deloitte Switzerland.
• Lead a variety of client projects, such as M&A transactions, audits for pension funds, or valuations.
• Manage the lifecycle of projects from proposals and contracting to delivery and invoicing.
• Drive business development through the identification of new ideas and opportunities, and generate new business with internal and external clients.
• Participate in and lead thought leadership efforts.
• Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, training, performance reviews, and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

• A University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
• Qualification as an actuary “Actuary SAA” or equivalent.
• Experience in an actuarial position, either in the insurance industry or in consulting.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, along with a strong willingness to learn and make a difference; enjoyment in working with diverse teams.
• Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at various levels.
• Proven business development experience.
