Join Our Team as a Senior Manager - Pension Lead in Actuarial Services

Work Pattern Percentage: 80% - 100%

Help our clients successfully manage global challenges with our Actuarial team, which provides a comprehensive range of actuarial support in the areas of life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We regularly collaborate with other teams in Audit & Assurance, as well as in other service lines such as Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, or Technology & Transformation on large-scale projects.

In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from day one, taking on day-to-day responsibilities to deliver reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Act as the main point of contact for pension topics for Deloitte Switzerland.
  • Directly lead various client projects, including M&A transactions, audits for pension funds, and valuations.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of projects from proposals and contracting to delivery and invoicing.
  • Engage in business development by identifying opportunities and generating new business with both internal and external clients.
  • Participate in and lead thought leadership initiatives.
  • Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including finding, acquiring, and training new talent, as well as conducting performance reviews and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

  • A University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
  • A qualified actuary with “Actuary SAA” accreditation or equivalent.
  • Experience in an actuarial position within the insurance industry or consulting.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, coupled with a strong willingness to learn and make a difference.
  • A passion for working collaboratively with individuals from various backgrounds.
  • Proficient communication skills in German and English, engaging confidently with different stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated business development experience.
