Help Our Clients Successfully Manage Global Challenges

Our Actuarial team provides a comprehensive range of actuarial support in the areas of life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We collaborate regularly with other teams in Audit & Assurance as well as lines of service like Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation on large-scale projects.

In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from the outset and will hold responsibilities for leading projects or workstreams, delivering reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Develop and coach the actuarial team for life insurance.
• Lead business development activities for the actuarial team in life and health insurance.
• Deliver projects collaboratively with other actuaries or in multidisciplinary teams, taking responsibility for workstreams or projects.

What to Expect

• Directly lead a variety of client projects, including actuarial transformation projects, M&A transactions, audits, or valuations.
• Manage the lifecycle of projects from proposals through contracting, delivery, and invoicing.
• Engage in business development: identify business ideas and opportunities, and generate new business with internal and external clients.
• Participate in and lead thought leadership initiatives.
• Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruiting and training new talent to conducting performance reviews and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

• You hold a University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
• You are a qualified actuary, “Actuary SAA” or equivalent.
• You possess experience in an actuarial position, preferably in Consulting within the Swiss market.
• You have excellent analytical and communication skills, with a strong willingness to learn and make a difference, and enjoy working with diverse teams.
• You communicate confidently in German and English with stakeholders at various levels—German/Swiss German is essential.
• You demonstrate proven business development experience.
• You have an affinity with technology, including actuarial modeling tools, AI platforms, and data platforms.
