Help Our Clients Successfully Manage Global Challenges

Our Actuarial team provides a full range of actuarial support in the areas of life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, as well as pension funds. We collaborate regularly with other teams in Audit & Assurance and with other lines of services, including Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation, on large-scale projects. In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from the start and will have responsibilities to lead projects or workstreams and deliver reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Develop and coach the actuarial team for life insurance.
  • Lead business development activities for the actuarial team in life and health insurance.
  • Deliver projects together with other actuaries or in a multidisciplinary team, taking responsibility for workstreams or projects.

What to Expect

  • Directly leading a variety of client projects, such as actuarial transformation projects, M&A transactions, audits, or valuations.
  • Managing the lifecycle of projects from proposals, contracting, delivery to invoicing.
  • Business development: identifying business ideas and opportunities, generating new business with internal and external clients.
  • Participating in and leading thought leadership.
  • Handling all aspects of the employee lifecycle from finding, acquiring and training new talent to performance reviews and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

  • You have a University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics or a similar quantitative field.
  • You are a qualified actuary “Actuary SAA” or equivalent.
  • You have experience in an actuarial position, preferably in Consulting in the Swiss market.
  • You possess excellent analytical and communication skills with a genuine willingness to learn and make a difference, enjoying collaboration with people from diverse fields.
  • You communicate confidently in German and English with various levels of stakeholders; German / Swiss German is a must.
  • You demonstrate proven business development experience.
  • You have an affinity with technology, such as actuarial modeling tools, AI platforms, and data platforms.
