Our Actuarial team provides a comprehensive range of actuarial support across life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We frequently collaborate with various teams in Audit & Assurance, as well as other service lines, including Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation on large-scale projects.

In this position, you will become part of an experienced project team from day one, with responsibilities to lead projects or workstreams and deliver reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Develop and coach the actuarial team focused on life insurance.
• Lead business development activities for the actuarial team in life and health insurance.
• Deliver projects collaboratively with other actuaries or within a multidisciplinary team. Take ownership of workstreams or projects.

What to Expect

• Directly lead a variety of client projects, including actuarial transformation projects, M&A transactions, audits, and valuations.
• Manage the lifecycle of projects from proposals and contracting through delivery to invoicing.
• Drive business development by identifying opportunities and generating new business with internal and external clients.
• Participate in and lead thought leadership initiatives.
• Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruiting and training new talent to conducting performance reviews and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

• You hold a University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
• You are a qualified actuary “Actuary SAA” or possess an equivalent qualification.
• You have experience in an actuarial role, preferably in consulting within the Swiss market.
• You possess excellent analytical and communication skills, along with a strong willingness to learn and make a difference; you thrive on collaboration with diverse teams.
• You can confidently communicate in German and English with stakeholders at all levels – proficiency in German or Swiss German is essential.
• You demonstrate proven experience in business development.
• You have an affinity for technology, including actuarial modeling tools, AI platforms, and data platforms.
