Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Global Downstream Marketing, will play a crucial role in leading the downstream marketing strategy for the $1.1B Restorative and Prevention business in the dental market. This position is responsible for guiding a high-performing team to establish revenue/margin targets, manage the portfolio budget, and create go-to-market strategies, all backed by data analytics to effectively expand segment share. Accountability for achieving annual financial targets for the R&P business is a key aspect of this role.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

  • Define and evolve the long-term global portfolio strategy.
  • Lead the annual portfolio planning process, including opportunity assessment and investment allocation.
  • Oversee lifecycle management to optimize in-market performance, including extensions and rationalizations.
  • Drive alignment with R&D, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, and Strategy on unmet needs and innovation roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with global upstream marketing to define product and technology roadmaps.
  • Ensure launch excellence, sales enablement, go-to-market execution, and demand generation.
  • Act as a strategic partner for M&A and partnership opportunities.
  • Work with cross-functional leadership to meet portfolio growth expectations.
  • Serve as a senior leader on the R&P leadership team, contributing to the long-term success of the business.
  • Build and inspire a high-performing team and future leaders.

Your Skills and Expertise

To excel in this role from day one, Solventum requires the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution and ten (10) years of progressive experience in downstream marketing and sales roles.
  • Strong financial acumen in business case development.
  • Problem-solving orientation utilizing both quantitative and qualitative analysis for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and field representatives.
  • Deep understanding of served markets, clinical trends, and healthcare economics.
  • Proven strategic thinking and vision capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in an action-oriented, high-accountability environment.
  • Marketing and/or sales leadership experience in a large med tech/med device company.

Work Details

Work location: Remote within Switzerland

Travel: 30% domestic and international travel required
