Your Mission
Job Description
- Business Operations Design & Ownership: Design, document, and continuously improve end-to-end business processes across lead and opportunity management, portfolio planning, deal closure, delivery readiness, and credit issuance. Define clear stage gates between Commercial, Product & Portfolio Operations to ensure sellable and deliverable products at scale.
- CRM, Tools & Data Infrastructure: Lead a small team to configure, maintain, and evolve these systems; define data standards and ensure data quality across all commercial workflows.
- Build and Maintain Routines and Dashboards: Integrate sales pipeline, advisory demand, product roadmap, and sourcing pipeline to provide forward-looking views on demand, supply, portfolio utilization, and gaps, informing prioritization and sourcing decisions.
- Customer-Facing Digital Delivery Platform: Establish a platform that orchestrates order status, milestone tracking, and credit issuance.
- Collaboration with Finance: Align processes and data related to order-to-cash, billing/invoicing, or revenue recognition where relevant.
- Continuous Improvement & Scaling: Identify bottlenecks in commercial operations and drive innovation, automation, and standardization. Pilot and roll out new processes and tools that enhance scalability and improve information flow.
- Cross-Functional Facilitation: Serve as the backbone between our Market and Product teams. Ensure that commercial needs are reflected in product and portfolio decisions and that new supplies and products are ready for sale and delivery.
Your Story
Requirements
- Education & Experience: Excellent academic record in a relevant field (e.g., Business/Finance, Economics, Engineering) with 5–8 years of work experience in a fast-paced, analytical environment (e.g., Implementation Consulting, Scale-up, Startup or trading firm).
- Commercial Operations Background: Experience in product management, sales operations, revenue operations, or a similar role with exposure to demand/supply topics, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- Tools & Systems: Hands-on experience with CRM (ideally Salesforce) and ERP (e.g., SAP); strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. Comfortable translating requirements into system configurations, data models, and reports. Experience with customer-facing platforms and/or finance integrations (order-to-cash, invoicing) is a plus.
- Analytical & Structured Working Style: Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail; capable of structuring ambiguous problems into clear processes and dashboards.
- Business Judgment & Prioritization: Proven ability to evaluate trade-offs—determining where to invest for scale versus remaining flexible—and to sequence work for optimum business impact.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders across various teams.
- People Leadership: Experience leading or mentoring team members; a player-coach mindset with readiness to take ownership of a small team from day one.
