Your Team

Join our agile Client & Card Management team as an experienced COBOL developer on the mainframe. With enthusiasm and expertise, you will develop and enhance robust, scalable components for our core card applications. Additionally, your broad knowledge of Linux systems will be invaluable in maintaining and improving our application landscape.

You will be responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of our core application landscape and will be well-versed in key business processes involved in card processing.

Your Role

• Conduct technical analysis of business requirements from various stakeholders and implement these requirements in a comprehensive and modern IT environment.
• Prepare impact analyses and estimates for various projects.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Core Card Management for both internal and cross-application projects.
• Build and utilize knowledge of the existing application landscape to extend current applications.
• Provide 3rd level support for the Core Card Management area, including on-call duties.

Your Expertise

• Excellent knowledge of the CMM products ACI-Issuer and ACI-Interchange.
• Proficient in programming with COBOL and DB2 (SQL).
• Strong experience with ChangeMan and UrbanCodeDeployment.
• Thorough knowledge of JCL, Control-M, CICS, VSAM, and z/OS.
• Skilled user of Confluence and Jira.
• Expertise in applying PCI DSS 4.0 standards.
• Good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Maven, Jenkins, and Git.
• Excellent analytical skills; adept at problem-solving and addressing challenges.
• Eager to work independently and proactively in an agile, motivated, and highly competent team.
• Experience in an agile environment, preferably as a Scrum Master.
• Experience in the financial sector, especially in the card business, is highly advantageous.
• Proficient in spoken and written English (at least C1) and German (at least B1).
