Your Team

Join our dynamic Client & Card Management team, where your enthusiasm as an experienced COBOL developer on the mainframe will shine. You will develop and enhance robust, scalable components for our core card applications with expertise and precision. Additionally, your broad knowledge of Linux systems will further augment our capabilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of our core application landscape and possess a deep understanding of critical business processes involved in card processing.

Your Role

• Conduct technical analysis of business requirements from various stakeholders and implement them within a comprehensive and modern IT environment.
• Prepare impact analyses and estimates for various projects.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Core Card Management for internal and cross-application projects.
• Gain knowledge of the existing application landscape and utilize this information for application enhancements.
• Provide third-level support for the Core Card Management area, including on-call duties.

Your Expertise

• Excellent knowledge of CMM products ACI-Issuer and ACI-Interchange.
• Strong programming skills in COBOL and DB2 (SQL).
• Proficient experience with ChangeMan and UrbanCodeDeployment.
• Solid understanding of JCL, Control-M, CICS, VSAM, and z/OS.
• Good user proficiency with Confluence and Jira.
• Expertise in applying PCI DSS 4.0 standards.
• Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, Maven, Jenkins, and Git.
• Strong analytical skills with a knack for problem-solving.
• Enjoy working independently and proactively within an agile, motivated, and highly skilled team.
• Experience in an agile environment, such as serving as a ScrumMaster.
• Background in the financial sector, particularly in card business, is highly advantageous.
• Proficient language skills in spoken and written English (at least C1) and German (at least B1).
