Your Role
As Senior Legal Counsel Private Banking at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will provide legal advice to client relationship managers and management, ensuring the delivery of exceptional banking services to our clients.
Your Responsibilities
- Offer legal advisory services in all matters, primarily for the Zurich branch
- Support client relationship managers and bank management with legal issues pertaining to daily operations
- Address various legal issues and coordinate with external legal counsel on litigation and legal opinions
- Draft and review both standardized and custom agreements between the Bank and clients or third parties
- Advise on significant banking, regulatory, or corporate projects and lead training sessions
- Process requests from authorities and courts
- Assist the Team Head with various legal matters
Your Profile
- Admission to the Swiss Bar
- Minimum of 7 years of practical experience in the legal department of a Swiss Bank, preferably in Private Banking
- Ability to assess problems and prioritize effectively
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity, accountability, and strong work ethics
- Capacity to work under pressure
- Fluency in German and English
- Proficiency in French and/or Italian is an advantage
