Your Role
As Senior Legal Counsel Private Banking at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will provide expert legal guidance to client relationship managers and management, ensuring the delivery of exceptional banking services to our clients.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide legal advisory services on a variety of matters, primarily related to the Zurich branch.
- Support client relationship managers and management in addressing legal issues related to the bank's daily operations.
- Handle diverse legal issues and coordinate with external legal counsels, particularly in litigation matters and for obtaining legal opinions.
- Draft and review both standardized and non-standardized agreements between the bank and its clients, as well as with third parties.
- Advise on significant banking, regulatory, or corporate projects and conduct training sessions.
- Process requests from authorities and courts.
- Assist the Team Head with various legal matters.
Your Profile
- Admission to the Swiss Bar.
- A minimum of 7 years of practical experience in the legal department of a Swiss bank, preferably in Private Banking.
- Strong ability to assess problems and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated work ethics, integrity, and a high level of accountability.
- Ability to thrive under pressure.
- Fluency in German and English; proficiency in French and/or Italian is a plus.
