Your Role
As Senior Legal Counsel for Private Banking at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will provide legal guidance to client relationship managers and senior management, ensuring the delivery of exceptional banking services to our clients.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide legal advisory services across all legal matters, primarily for the Zurich branch.
- Support client relationship managers and the Bank's management on legal issues concerning daily operations.
- Manage various legal issues and coordinate with external legal counsel on litigation matters, legal opinions, etc.
- Draft and review both standardized and non-standardized agreements between the Bank and clients, or with third parties.
- Offer advice on major banking, regulatory, and corporate projects, along with relevant training courses.
- Handle requests from authorities and courts.
- Assist the Team Head with various legal matters.
Your Profile
- Admission to the Swiss Bar.
- A minimum of 7 years of practical experience in the legal department of a Swiss Bank, preferably in Private Banking.
- Demonstrated ability to assess issues and prioritize effectively.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High work ethic, integrity, and accountability.
- Able to thrive under pressure.
- Fluency in German and English; proficiency in French and/or Italian is a plus.
