Your Role
As Senior Legal Counsel in Private Banking at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will provide expert legal advice to client relationship managers and senior management, ensuring the delivery of exceptional banking services to our clients.
Your Responsibilities
- Offer comprehensive legal advisory services on various matters, primarily concerning the Zurich branch.
- Support client relationship managers and the bank's management with legal issues related to daily operations.
- Manage legal matters of all types and coordinate with external legal counsels for litigation and legal opinions.
- Draft and review both standardized and bespoke agreements between the bank and clients or third parties.
- Provide guidance on significant banking, regulatory, and corporate projects, as well as training sessions.
- Handle requests from authorities and courts efficiently.
- Assist the Team Head with various legal matters as needed.
Your Profile
- Admission to the Swiss Bar.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the legal department of a Swiss bank, preferably in Private Banking.
- Strong ability to analyze issues and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and strong work ethic.
- Able to work efficiently under pressure.
- Fluency in both German and English; proficiency in French and/or Italian is an advantage.
