We are seeking a Senior Lead - Development Manager, Special Projects to help shape the future of On’s Global Real Estate + Development team from our Headquarters in Zurich. This dynamic and senior strategic role is integral to the Global Strategic Initiatives team, responsible for overseeing the strategic development, elevated decision-making, and execution of high-profile, globally impactful initiatives. As the driving force behind complex projects within the Real Estate portfolio, the successful candidate will make significant decisions under pressure and in the face of ambiguity. Additionally, this role involves critically analyzing project outcomes to create standardized playbooks and best practices, documenting key learnings, optimizing processes, and establishing clear frameworks for future projects.
Your Mission

Your Story
- Project Experience: Over 10 years of demonstrated experience in architecture and construction management for complex projects, including direct involvement in design development and construction administration.
- Elevated Decision-Making: Proven ability to make complex, high-stakes decisions with brand-wide implications under pressure and ambiguity.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills and effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders to manage expectations.
- Strategic Global Partnerships: Extensive experience in driving strategic partnerships while providing mentorship and support to cross-functional teams.
- Novel Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address systemic blockers, delivering unique and scalable solutions to brand challenges.
- Calculated Risk Management: Experience in analyzing strategic options, forming action plans, and managing calculated risks to drive innovation.
- Innovation & Adaptability: Comfortable leading high-profile Special Projects that challenge the status quo and require innovative thinking.
- Design & Organizational Skills: Strong appreciation for design combined with the ability to manage multiple projects and maintain meticulous records.
- Language: Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills; additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel globally as needed.
