We are seeking a Senior Lead - Development Manager, Special Projects to help shape the future of On’s Global Real Estate + Development team from our headquarters in Zurich. This role is both dynamic and senior within the Global Strategic Initiatives team, responsible for the strategic development, elevated decision-making, and end-to-end execution of high-profile, globally impactful initiatives. As the driving force behind complex projects within the Real Estate portfolio, this role requires making high-stakes decisions with brand-wide implications, often under pressure and ambiguity. Additionally, this position entails critically analyzing project outcomes to create standardized playbooks and best practices for future Special Projects, documenting key learnings, optimizing processes, and establishing clear frameworks for upcoming initiatives.

Your Story (What You Bring)
- Project Experience (10+ Years): Proven background in architecture and construction, managing complex projects (retail, workplace, etc.), with direct involvement in design development to construction administration.
- Elevated Decision-Making: Comfort in making complex, high-stakes decisions that have brand-wide implications.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic Global Partnerships: Extensive experience in driving strategic partnerships and providing confident direction to cross-functional teams.
- Novel Problem-Solving: Ability to identify systemic challenges and deliver unique, scalable solutions to brand-specific issues.
- Calculated Risk Management: Skilled in analyzing strategic options and managing calculated risks to fuel innovation.
- Innovation & Adaptability: Experience in leading high-profile Special Projects that involve exploring new approaches.
- Design & Organizational Skills: A strong appreciation for design aesthetics combined with the ability to multitask and maintain meticulous records.
- Language: Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in another language is a plus.
- Travel: Willingness to travel globally as needed.
