KNOW YOUR TALENTS
Your future employer is a renowned Swiss financial service provider based in Zurich. The Identity & Access Management (IAM) team is undergoing a transformation, moving from several distributed responsibilities to a central, growing team focused on security architecture and IAM. Around 200 applications are connected to the Identity Governance Administration (IGA) platform. An ongoing IAM transformation program aims to consolidate processes and introduce a new role model. You will play a crucial role in the governance aspect of this team, reporting directly to the team leader, while collaborating closely with the second line to set and review requirements.
Would You Like to Be a Senior Specialist IAM (a), 80 to 100%?
If you are eager to not just be a part of the whole but to actively influence and shape it with a focus on Access Governance, we look forward to meeting you.
My Challenges
- Design access concepts and authorization models based on need-to-know and least privilege, and enhance role models in connected applications.
- Oversee the regular recertification and revalidation of authorizations, from preparation through execution to documentation and sustainable cleanup.
- Analyze critical authorization combinations and access risks, assess deviations, and implement effective measures in collaboration with various departments.
- Independently manage internal and external IAM audits, establishing controls, evidence, and documentation that withstand rigorous examination.
- Contribute to shaping the IAM vision during the ongoing transformation program and subsequently optimize processes accordingly.
- Purposefully integrate AI into governance: evaluate authorization data, identify over-privileged accounts and segregation of duties conflicts, derive roles from actual authorizations, utilize recommendations in recertification efforts, and automatically generate audit evidence.
- Incorporate technical identities, such as service accounts and AI agents, into governance by assigning responsible owners and managing approval and data access per least privilege, while ensuring documentation is traceable.
- Clearly articulate requirements and hand them over to engineering for technical implementation in the IGA platform.
- Advise projects and application teams on connecting new applications and identities, clarifying deviations between authorizations, role models, and technical implementations.
- Maintain a focus on process work: approximately 30% governance, 50% implementation without personal development tasks, and 20% audit support.
My Competencies
- 3 to 4 years of experience in Identity & Access Management, with a strong emphasis on Access Governance and a keen interest in AI, supported by practical experience.
- Solid understanding of authorization models, role management, and control mechanisms, with hands-on experience in recertification, revalidation, segregation of duties, and risk-based access controls.
- Knowledge of IAM processes in a regulated environment is essential; experience in a regulated company is advantageous but not a requirement.
- Practical experience with an IGA platform such as One Identity, SailPoint, Omada, Okta, or Saviynt; proprietary development experience will also be considered if it enhances governance understanding.
- Strong technical proficiency, with good knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, and familiarity with Active Directory, PAM, and cloud permissions is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Ability to integrate AI functions into existing processes and work agentically, ensuring clear approvals and human oversight; an affinity for AI is vital for this role.
- Good insight into the requirements of audits and examiners.
- Assertiveness in dealing with departments and conceptual strength in role and control models, along with effective stakeholder management up to management level.
- Higher education or equivalent experience; certifications in the fields of IGA and IAM, CISSP, or CISM are a plus.
- Proficiency in German at level B2 and very good English skills.
My Advantages
- Leadership position with professional oversight of the governance topic within a growing team.
- IAM is a top priority at the management level; the transformation program is active, with significant opportunities for impact and influence.
- AI integration is underway: GitHub Copilot is in use, with the next steps aimed at AI-supported governance processes.
- Opportunities for further professional and personal development are supported.
- Attractive employment conditions commensurate with responsibility.
- In-person collaboration is valued, with direct exchanges on-site complemented by mobility options.
- A culture of familiarity from day one, supported by streamlined decision-making processes.
- Start as soon as possible, ideally from January 2027.
