(Senior) Global Product Manager Industrial Valves (m/f/d)

As a result of the promotion of the incumbent, we are excited to announce this opportunity for the Senior Global Product Manager Industrial Valves. In this role, you will take ownership of the product lifecycle for our industrial valve portfolio, overseeing everything from strategy and development to launch and support. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, supply chain, and customers to define and deliver innovative, high-performing valve solutions that meet market demands and drive business growth.
Your tasks:
- Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the valve product line.
- Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs.
- Define product requirements, specifications, and business cases in collaboration with engineering and sales.
- Drive new product development initiatives and manage the full product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
- Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction; lead continuous improvement efforts.
- Support sales and marketing with technical product information, training, and promotional material.
- Manage product pricing, margin, and positioning to optimize profitability.
- Act as the internal and external product expert, participating in customer visits, trade shows, and technical presentations.
Your profile:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, focusing on business economics or a related technical or economic field of study, along with a technical apprenticeship and additional training.
- At least 6 years of extensive experience managing a product portfolio in the field of valves (essential for this position).
- Strong ability to translate customer needs into solutions while understanding the impact of technologies, with a knack for adapting to change and competing demands.
- A proactive individual who enjoys taking initiative and ownership of tasks.
- Experience working across teams and departments, with the ability to structure and coordinate diverse stakeholder interests.
- Proficient in English and German, with high-level professional language skills.
- Willingness to travel worldwide up to 15% of the time.
