(Senior) Global Product Manager Industrial Valves (m/f/d)

We are excited to announce an opening for the role of Senior Global Product Manager for Industrial Valves. In this position, you will oversee the product lifecycle for our industrial valve portfolio, from strategy and development to launch and support. Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, supply chain, and customers, you will help define and deliver innovative, high-performing valve solutions that meet market demands and drive business growth.
Your Tasks:
- Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the valve product line.
- Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs.
- Define product requirements, specifications, and business cases in collaboration with engineering and sales.
- Drive new product development initiatives and manage the full product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
- Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction; lead continuous improvement efforts.
- Support sales and marketing with technical product information, training, and promotional material.
- Manage product pricing, margin, and positioning to optimize profitability.
- Act as the internal and external product expert, participating in customer visits, trade shows, and technical presentations.
Your Profile:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering with a focus on business economics or a comparable technical or economical field of study, along with a technical apprenticeship and additional training.
- A minimum of 6 years of extensive experience in managing a product portfolio in the field of valves (essential for this position).
- Strong ability to translate customer needs into solutions and understand the impact of technologies, with a knack for adapting to change and competing demands.
- A proactive nature with a penchant for taking initiative and ownership.
- Experience working across teams and departments, with the ability to structure and coordinate various stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and German at a high professional level.
- Willingness to travel worldwide up to 15% of the time.
