(Senior) Global Product Manager Industrial Valves (m/f/d)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Global Product Manager Industrial Valves. In this role, you will take ownership of the product lifecycle for our industrial valve portfolio—from strategy and development to launch and support. You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, supply chain, and customers to define and deliver innovative, high-performing valve solutions that meet market demands and drive business growth.
Your Tasks:
Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the valve product line.
Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs.
Define product requirements, specifications, and business cases in collaboration with engineering and sales.
Drive new product development initiatives and manage the full product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction; lead continuous improvement efforts.
Support sales and marketing with technical product information, training, and promotional material.
Manage product pricing, margin, and positioning to optimize profitability.
Act as the internal and external product expert, participating in customer visits, trade shows, and technical presentations.
Your Profile:
A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering with a focus on business economics, or a comparable technical or economical field of study, and/or a technical apprenticeship with additional training.
A minimum of 6 years of extensive experience managing a product portfolio in the field of valves (essential for this position).
Strong ability to translate customer needs into solutions and understand the impact of technologies, with adaptability to change and competing demands.
A proactive nature who takes initiative and ownership.
Experience working across teams and departments with the ability to structure and coordinate different stakeholders.
English and German language skills at a high professional level.
Willingness to travel worldwide up to 15% of the time.
