Role Overview
We are searching for a temporary project mode role to support and advise our Global HSSE organization within the Group HSSE Function. In this position, you will report to the CEO and functionally to the Group HSE/SA Manager, acting as a key advisor with the following responsibilities.
Your Responsibilities:
- Global ESSH Program Coordination:
- Coordinate the development, implementation, and monitoring of global environmental, safety, health, and sustainability programs across multiple regions.
- Ensure ESSH strategies align with company goals and regulatory requirements in all operating regions.
- Collaborate with regional ESSH managers for alignment on initiatives with global corporate standards.
- Regulatory Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international environmental, safety, health, and sustainability regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in ESSH-related legislation, communicating necessary changes to local teams.
- Prepare and manage compliance documentation, including permits, reports, and certifications.
- Health and Safety Oversight:
- Promote best practices in occupational health and safety (OHS) aligning with international standards such as ISO 45001.
- Facilitate the investigation of safety incidents and near-misses, coordinating corrective actions globally.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with teams to integrate ESSH practices into operational activities, product development, and business strategies.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure global alignment on ESSH matters.
- Act as a liaison between corporate leadership and local operations for effective communication of ESSH goals.
- Training, Awareness, and Capacity Building:
- Develop and roll out global ESSH training programs for all employees.
- Encourage employee engagement in ESSH initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- ESSH Audits and Inspections:
- Coordinate global ESSH audits ensuring operations meet required standards.
- Prepare for audits and ensure timely completion of identified corrective actions.
- Track and report audit results, identifying trends for improvement.
- Incident Management and Reporting:
- Oversee global incident management systems ensuring proper reporting and resolution of incidents.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions globally to reduce recurrence likelihood.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Advise on plans with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, NGOs, and industry associations.
- Support communication on ESSH matters, including contributions to public sustainability reports.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Identify best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the company’s ESSH performance.
- Promote the adoption of new technologies or processes for improved sustainability and safety.
Your Background:
- Experienced Engineer or Master Engineer in mechanical and fluid disciplines, with a focus on maintenance and service in manufacturing environments.
- Experience in global EHS strategy roll-out and implementation in multicultural, multi-site environments.
- Demonstrated experience in nuclear and hazardous environments within the Power and Energy sectors.
- Over 7 years of experience in manufacturing turbo generators, frequency changers, motors, switchgear, and transformers.
- Proven track record in health and safety regulations for more than 10 years across various global regions (e.g., EMEA, APAC, Americas).
- Over 7 years of project management experience in complex service and manufacturing networks.
