Your Role
In this temporary project role, you will provide support and advice to our Global HSSE organization within the Group HSSE Function. Reporting to the CEO and functionally to the Group HSE/SA Manager, you will be a key advisor responsible for the following:
Your Responsibilities
- Global ESSH Program Coordination
- Coordinate the development, implementation, and monitoring of global environmental, safety, health, and sustainability programs across multiple regions.
- Ensure ESSH strategies align with company goals and regulatory requirements in all operating regions.
- Collaborate with regional ESSH managers to align regional initiatives with global corporate standards.
- Regulatory Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations across the company’s operations.
- Stay updated on changes in legislation and communicate necessary updates to local teams.
- Prepare and manage compliance documentation for various regulatory agencies.
- Health and Safety Oversight
- Promote best practices in occupational health and safety (OHS), aligning with international standards such as ISO 45001.
- Facilitate investigations of safety incidents and coordinate corrective actions globally.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with regional and local teams to integrate ESSH practices into operational activities and business strategies.
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, risk management, and operations teams for global alignment on ESSH matters.
- Training, Awareness, and Capacity Building
- Develop and implement global ESSH training programs for employees at all levels.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by engaging employees in ESSH initiatives.
- ESSH Audits and Inspections
- Coordinate global audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Lead the preparation for audits and ensure timely completion of corrective actions.
- Incident Management and Reporting
- Oversee global incident management systems for proper reporting and resolution of incidents.
- Track and report on ESSH incidents and performance metrics, identifying improvement opportunities.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Advise on plans with internal and external stakeholders to stay updated on ESSH trends.
- Support global stakeholder communication on ESSH matters.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation
- Lead the identification of best practices to enhance the company’s ESSH performance.
- Promote the adoption of new technologies or processes that improve sustainability efforts.
Your Background
- Experienced Engineer or Master's degree holder in Mechanical or Fluid Engineering, focused on maintenance and service in manufacturing environments.
- Experience in rolling out global EHS strategies in a multicultural, multi-site environment.
- Proven background in Nuclear and Hazardous environments, particularly in Power and Energy sectors.
- More than 7 years of experience in manufacturing turbo generators, frequency changers, motors, switchgear, and transformers.
- Experience working in a decentralized organization with multiple sites.
- Over 10 years of demonstrated expertise in health and safety regulations across different regions (e.g., EMEA, APAC, Americas).
- More than 7 years of project management experience in complex service and manufacturing network landscapes.
