Your Impact as a Senior Global Account Coordinator

The Senior Global Account Coordinator is responsible for managing a complex portfolio of international accounts, including placement and service, while ensuring that multinational client deliverables are maintained. This individual acts as the AGCN representative for the local office or region regarding new business opportunities and training needs for both internal and external clients.

This role leads by example, advocating for Aon’s Impact Model; supporting local AGCN colleagues; promoting connectivity, collaboration, and cooperation within local office practices and functions; and facilitating the sharing of knowledge, best practices, and resources related to multinational accounts.

What Your Day Will Look Like

  • Liaise with Aon network offices for global program coordination activities.
  • Maintain effective and productive relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Support the design, placement, and servicing of large and complex international insurance programs, including those with alternative risk financing structures.
  • Draft assigned elements of client service plans, stewardship reports, and other presentations tailored to specific audience needs.
  • Explain general coverage options to both professional and non-professional insurance buyers unfamiliar with insurance practices, enlisting Aon regional experts to address specialized needs.
  • Articulate the value of various account service and revenue structures for international insurance programs to internal stakeholders, supporting colleagues in communicating this to external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on market trends, pricing practices, and underwriting policies to communicate effectively with clients and coordinating offices.
  • Provide international technical expertise to a portfolio of complex multinational accounts and support ad hoc requests from colleagues within the office/region.
  • Demonstrate unwavering commitment to high performance in regional account management while upholding a personal standard of quality and integrity.
  • Contribute towards growth and retention targets.
  • Mentor junior staff and engage in new business and penetration opportunities.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Experience providing counsel to multinational clients, coordinating service for outward business, negotiating multinational insurance programs, and leading collaboration across offices/geographies in support of multinational risk management and finance practices.

Skills and Experience That Will Lead to Success

  • Knowledge of multinational risk financing/insurance programs and associated counsel and service.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Multicultural awareness and hands-on experience in international business environments.
  • Logical thinking and independent problem solving.
  • Technical proficiency across multiple lines of insurance, particularly in international programs.
  • Experience with multiple insurance lines in key locales (EU/EEA and USA).
  • Familiarity with insurance regulatory environments in key locales (EU/EEA and USA).
  • Proficiency in multinational account management tools – AonLine, GAMS, Axco.
  • Strong Microsoft Suite skills.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English and German.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in the insurance industry.
