Your Impact as a Senior Global Account Coordinator

The Senior Global Account Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing a complex portfolio of international accounts. This includes the placement and servicing of accounts while ensuring that multinational client deliverables are consistently met. This individual serves as the AGCN representative for the local office or region, identifying new business opportunities and addressing training needs for both internal and external clients.

As a role model for Aon's Impact Model, you will support local AGCN colleagues, promote connectivity, collaboration, and cooperation among local office practices, while fostering the sharing of knowledge, best practices, and resources surrounding multinational accounts.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

  • Liaise with Aon network offices on outward global program coordination activities.
  • Maintain effective and productive relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Support the design, placement, and servicing of large and complex international insurance programs, including those with alternative risk financing structures.
  • Draft elements of client service plans, stewardship reports, and presentations tailored to specific audiences.
  • Explain general coverage to professional and non-professional insurance buyers unfamiliar with insurance practices, involving Aon regional experts as necessary.
  • Articulate the value of various account service and revenue structures to internal stakeholders and support colleagues in communicating this to external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on market trends, pricing practices, and underwriting policies to effectively communicate with clients and coordinating offices.
  • Provide international technical expertise to a portfolio of complex multinational accounts and support ad hoc requests from colleagues.
  • Maintain a commitment to high performance in regional account management and uphold personal standards of quality and integrity.
  • Contribute to growth and retention targets.
  • Mentor junior staff on international placements and multinational client service strategies.
  • Engage in new business and penetration opportunities.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Your Knowledge and Expertise

You will bring a wealth of experience in advising multinational clients, coordinating service for outward business, negotiating multinational insurance programs, and fostering collaboration across offices and geographies for effective risk management and financing practices.

Skills and Experience That Will Lead to Success

  • In-depth understanding of multinational risk financing/insurance programs.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Multicultural awareness and experience in international business environments.
  • Logical thinking with independent problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical proficiency across multiple lines of insurance, particularly in international programs.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory environments of key locales (EU/EEA and USA).
  • Proficient in account management tools such as AonLine, GAMS, and Axco.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Suite.
  • Exceptional presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English and German.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in the insurance industry.
