Aon is looking for a Senior Global Account Coordinator to join Aon’s Global Client Network. As part of an industry-leading team, you will empower our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions in Commercial Risk Solutions, based in Neuchatel.

Your Impact as a Senior Global Account Coordinator

The Senior Global Account Coordinator is responsible for managing a complex portfolio of international accounts, overseeing placement and service, and ensuring that multinational client deliverables are consistently met. This role acts as the AGCN representative for the local office or region, identifying new business opportunities and addressing training needs for both internal and external clients.

This individual sets the tone by exemplifying Aon’s Impact Model, supporting local AGCN colleagues and promoting connectivity, collaboration, and cooperation within office practices. Additionally, this role fosters the sharing of knowledge, best practices, and resources related to multinational accounts.

What Your Day Will Look Like

  • Liaise with Aon network offices on global program coordination activities.
  • Maintain effective and productive relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Support the design, placement, and servicing of large and complex international insurance programs, including those with alternative risk financing structures.
  • Draft assigned elements of client service plans, stewardship reports, and presentations tailored to audience needs.
  • Explain general coverages to both professional and non-professional insurance buyers unacquainted with insurance practices, leveraging Aon regional experts for specialized needs.
  • Communicate the value of various account service and revenue structures for international insurance programs to internal stakeholders while assisting colleagues in articulating this to external stakeholders.
  • Stay current with market trends, pricing practices, and underwriting policies to effectively communicate with clients and coordinating offices.
  • Provide international technical expertise to a portfolio of complex multinational accounts, as well as support ad hoc requests from colleagues.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to high performance in regional account management and uphold high standards of quality and integrity.
  • Contribute towards growth and retention targets.
  • Mentor junior staff and key stakeholders on international placements and multinational client service strategies.
  • Engage in new business development and penetration opportunities.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

You have experience providing counsel to multinational clients, coordinating services for outward business, negotiating multinational insurance programs, and leading collaboration across offices and geographies to support multinational risk management and finance practices for insureds, brokers, and insurers.

Skills and Experience That Will Lead to Success

  • Strong understanding of multinational risk financing/insurance programs and supporting counsel and service.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Multicultural awareness and practical experience in international business environments.
  • Logical thinking and independent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Technical proficiency across multiple lines of insurance, with a focus on international programs.
  • Experience with various lines of insurance in key locales such as the EU/EEA and USA.
  • Familiarity with insurance regulatory environments in key regions (EU/EEA and USA).
  • Proficiency in multinational account management tools – AonLine, GAMS, Axco.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Professional proficiency in English and German.

Education

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the insurance industry is required.
