Your Impact as a Senior Global Account Coordinator

The Senior Global Account Coordinator will manage a complex portfolio of international accounts, facilitating placement and service while ensuring the delivery of multinational client commitments. This role is pivotal in acting as the AGCN representative for the local office or region, focusing on new business opportunities and addressing training needs for both internal and external clients.

As a strong advocate of Aon’s Impact Model, you will lead by example, support local AGCN colleagues, and promote collaboration within local office practices, ensuring the sharing of knowledge and resources related to multinational accounts.

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Liaise with Aon network offices to coordinate global program activities.
• Maintain productive relationships with internal and external clients.
• Support the design, placement, and servicing of large and complex international insurance programs, including those with alternative risk financing structures.
• Draft elements of client service plans, stewardship reports, and tailored presentations.
• Communicate general coverages to clients, assisting those unfamiliar with insurance practices and engaging Aon regional experts for specialized needs.
• Articulate the value of various account services and revenue structures for international programs to internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay informed about market trends and underwriting policies to relay to clients and collaborating offices.
• Provide technical expertise to complex multinational accounts and respond to ad hoc requests from colleagues.
• Commit to high performance in regional account management, maintaining a personal standard of quality and integrity.
• Contribute to growth and retention targets.
• Mentor junior staff and key stakeholders on international placements and client service strategies.
• Engage in new business opportunities.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

What You Bring

We seek candidates with experience advising multinational clients on insurance program coordination and the negotiation of multinational insurance contracts. Experience in leading collaboration across offices to support multinational risk management practices is essential.

• Knowledge of multinational risk financing and insurance programs.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Multicultural awareness and experience within international business environments.
• Logical thinking and independent problem-solving abilities.
• Technical proficiency across multiple lines of insurance, especially in international programs.
• Familiarity with insurance in key locales (EU/EEA and USA) and their regulatory environments.
• Proficiency in account management tools such as AonLine, GAMS, and Axco.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Suite.
• Exceptional presentation skills and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Professional proficiency in English and German.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the insurance industry is required.
