Aon is Seeking a Senior Global Account Coordinator for Aon's Global Client Network

As part of an industry-leading team, you will play a vital role in empowering results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Commercial Risk Solutions in Neuchatel.

Your Impact as a Senior Global Account Coordinator

The Senior Global Account Coordinator is responsible for managing a complex portfolio of international accounts. This includes overseeing placement and service, as well as ensuring that multinational client deliverables are met. This individual will serve as the AGCN representative for the local office or region regarding new business opportunities and any training needs for both internal and external clients.

Leading by example, you will actively promote Aon’s Impact Model, support local AGCN colleagues, and foster connectivity, collaboration, and cooperation within local office practices and functions. You will encourage sharing of knowledge, best practices, and resources related to multinational accounts.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

  • Liaise with Aon network offices on global program coordination activities.
  • Maintain effective and productive relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Support the design, placement, and servicing of large and complex international insurance programs, including those with alternative risk financing structures.
  • Draft elements of client service plans, stewardship reports, and other presentations tailored to the audience and circumstances.
  • Explain general coverages to professional and non-professional insurance buyers unfamiliar with insurance practices, enlisting Aon regional experts to address specialized needs.
  • Articulate the value of various account service and revenue structures for international insurance programs to internal stakeholders, and aid responsible colleagues in communicating this to external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed of market trends, pricing practices, and underwriting policies to effectively communicate with clients and coordinating offices.
  • Provide international technical expertise to a portfolio of complex multinational accounts while supporting ad hoc requests from colleagues.
  • Demonstrate unwavering commitment to high performance in regional account management, upholding personal standards of quality and integrity.
  • Contribute towards growth and retention targets.
  • Mentor junior staff and key stakeholders on international placements and multinational client service strategies.
  • Engage in new business and penetration opportunities.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Your Knowledge and Expertise

You should have experience providing counsel to multinational clients, which includes coordinating services for outward business, negotiating multinational insurance programs, and leading collaborations across offices and geographies in support of multinational risk management/finance practices.

Skills and Experience That Will Lead to Success

  • Knowledge of multinational risk financing/insurance programs and supporting counsel and service.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Multicultural awareness and hands-on experience in international business environments.
  • Logical thinking and independent problem solving.
  • Technical proficiency across multiple lines of insurance, particularly in international programs.
  • Experience with multiple lines of insurance in key locales (EU/EEA and USA).
  • Understanding of insurance regulatory environments in key locales (EU/EEA and USA).
  • Proficiency in multinational account management tools – AonLine, GAMS, Axco.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Suite.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English and German.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the insurance industry is required.
