Your Impact as a Senior Global Account Coordinator

The Senior Global Account Coordinator is responsible for managing a complex portfolio of international accounts, encompassing placement and service while ensuring that multinational client deliverables are met. This role acts as the Aon Global Client Network (AGCN) representative for the local office or region, identifying new business opportunities and addressing training needs for both internal and external stakeholders.

This professional leads by example as a strong sponsor of Aon’s Impact Model, supporting local AGCN colleagues, promoting and ensuring connectivity and collaboration within local practices, and facilitating the sharing of knowledge, best practices, and resources regarding multinational accounts.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Aon network offices on global program coordination activities.
  • Maintain effective and productive relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Support the design, placement, and servicing of large and complex international insurance programs, including alternative risk financing structures.
  • Draft elements of client service plans, stewardship reports, and presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Explain general coverages to both professional and non-professional insurance buyers unfamiliar with insurance practices. Collaborate with Aon regional experts to address specialized needs.
  • Understand and articulate the value of various account service and revenue structures for international insurance programs to internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing practices, and underwriting policies to effectively communicate with clients and coordinating offices.
  • Provide international technical expertise to a portfolio of complex multinational accounts and support ad hoc requests from colleagues.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to high performance in regional account management while upholding personal standards of quality and integrity.
  • Contribute towards growth and retention targets.
  • Mentor junior staff and key stakeholders on international placements and multinational client service strategies.
  • Engage in new business and penetration opportunities.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Expertise

Experience in providing counsel to multinational clients, including coordination of services, negotiating multinational insurance programs, and collaboration across offices to support multinational risk management and finance practices.

  • Extensive knowledge of multinational risk financing and insurance programs.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Multicultural awareness and experience in international business environments.
  • Logical thinking and independent problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical proficiency across multiple lines of insurance, with strength in international programs.
  • Experience with multiple lines of insurance in key locations (EU/EEA and USA).
  • Understanding of insurance regulatory environments in key locations (EU/EEA and USA).
  • Proficiency in multinational account management tools such as AonLine, GAMS, and Axco.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Suite.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Professional proficiency in English and German.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
