Scalera AG is an ETH Zurich spin-off that develops an AI-powered SaaS platform for automating tenders and supplier selection within the construction industry. Based in Zurich, our company employs around 20 talented individuals and is currently expanding throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Responsibilities
- Develop modern web applications and design systems for our AI-based SaaS products.
- Focus on front-end development (approximately 60%), prioritizing user experience, performance, and code quality.
- Take responsibility for the technical implementation of features in collaboration with the back-end using Python and FastAPI.
- Contribute to shaping the architecture, coding standards, and development guidelines for the frontend team.
- Work closely with design, product, and data science teams to ensure a consistent user experience.
- Support the ongoing development of internal tools, component libraries, and build processes.
Requirements
- A minimum of several years of experience as a full-stack or frontend engineer, focusing on React, TypeScript, and Next.js (senior level).
- Solid backend knowledge in Python (FastAPI) or comparable frameworks.
- Excellent proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Python (FastAPI) and modern API architectures.
- Experience with complex frontend infrastructures, such as monorepos and CI/CD.
- An independent and structured approach to work, with a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Terms of Employment
- Permanent full-time position (100%).
- Location: Zurich (Sihlcity).
- Start date: by agreement.
