Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of professional experience as a financial analyst or management controller in a fast-paced international environment.
- Experience in commodity trading is highly valued.
- Good knowledge of SAP is essential.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Strong Excel skills are required.
- Very good knowledge in accounting.
- Familiarity with energy commodity trading is an asset.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities flexibly.
- Experience using spreadsheets and databases to analyze information.
- Ability to build informal networks to gather data and information.
- Application of management accounting and economics concepts.
- Commitment to continual learning about the company’s products, markets, and processes.
- Strong presentation and argumentation skills to convey the story behind the numbers.
- A university degree in Finance or Economics or equivalent.
- Financial professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, or CMA are a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Russian.
Job Purpose Summary:
The primary objective of the Senior Financial Analyst is to understand financial information and perform in-depth analysis, delivering insightful explanations that enhance management decision-making. This role also involves representing the desk internally and externally, building networks with Litasco Group subsidiaries and LUKOIL Group Headquarters, and LUKOIL Group subsidiaries.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Participation in the preparation of presentation materials for LITASCO / LUKOIL Top Management.
- Preparation and analysis of management accounts and reporting.
- Cash flow analysis and reporting.
- Budget preparation and analysis.
- Support for business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across LITASCO Group.
- Lead and/or participate in ad hoc projects, taking actions to develop and implement new projects related to the desk.
- Lead and/or participate in SAP/ETRM system development projects, implementing improvements related to reporting.
- Provide other departments with information for ad-hoc requests and recurring reports, assisting business/trading and Treasury with reports and analyses to enhance decision-making processes.
- Act as a liaison between LUKOIL Headquarters (particularly the Economics Department) and LITASCO Group.
