Your role will encompass providing visionary and strategic leadership across all performance verticals, ensuring alignment with On’s global mission and long-term business objectives. As a strategic yet hands-on leader, you will bring innovative products to market while optimizing processes, fostering creativity, and ensuring operational excellence throughout all functions.
With extensive experience leading global Product organizations, you will inspire and mentor a talented product strategy team, establishing new benchmarks for collaboration and innovation. You will guarantee that our product pipeline remains agile and world-class, skillfully balancing immediate involvement with strategic foresight to shape the company’s long-term direction.
Your Mission
- Define and drive overarching product strategy for the performance division, supporting the company’s brand vision, mission, and growth objectives.
- Lead, grow, and enable the global product strategy team for our performance verticals, ensuring seamless collaboration across product innovation, design, and product creation teams.
- Partner closely with innovation, product creation, and design teams to ensure all product initiatives align with our vision of becoming the most premium sportswear brand globally, rooted in performance.
- Build and scale a high-performance team that thrives on cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence, while fostering an inclusive environment focused on development and accountability.
- Foster leadership at every level, with a clear focus on developing and nurturing the next generation of leaders within the organization. Mentor, coach, and empower emerging leaders to ensure a robust succession pipeline for long-term success.
- Establish a clear vision for how channel strategy, brand strategy, and product strategy collaboratively shape the product portfolio lifecycle across our performance vertical.
- Lead with a focus on vision and innovation, ensuring that On maintains its position at the forefront of industry trends and remains a leader in the performance market.
Your Story
- Over 15 years of global leadership experience in high-performing product organizations, ideally within the sportswear industry.
- More than 10 years of experience leading large teams, with the capacity to inspire and execute against ambitious business objectives.
- A visionary and entrepreneurial product leader passionate about building and mentoring world-class teams that foster innovation and deliver exceptional results.
- A proven track record of building and improving processes and systems in complex, multinational, and cross-functional organizations to drive operational efficiencies.
- Expertise in end-to-end product creation.
- Significant experience collaborating with design, product creation, and GTM teams at the executive level, acting as a key partner in defining and executing product roadmaps.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels, both internally and externally.
