Job Title: Sr. Director, Media

The Sr. Director, Media is responsible for leading media strategy and planning across International Regions (EMEA, LAC & APAC) for RBI's brands. Reporting to the Chief Brand Officer, this role is pivotal within the International Marketing Team, tasked with creating a comprehensive media strategy that drives profitable growth across diverse regions. Key responsibilities include managing agency relationships, optimizing media investments, and integrating performance marketing practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Agency Management:
    • Develop and nurture global agency relationships through structured management programs.
    • Lead global/international media agency pitches.
  • Media Investment Management:
    • Lead the annual AP process for brand investments, managing appropriate levels of working, non-working, and promotional investments.
  • Media Strategy & Execution:
    • Design and implement an annual media management process covering strategy, planning, and trading across all media types.
    • Develop and implement an RBI proprietary integrated media model across performance and brand media for international markets.
  • Performance Marketing:
    • Ensure the integration of performance marketing into global media agencies' strategic planning and execution processes.
  • KPI & Measurement:
    • Lead the establishment and tracking of media KPIs, collaborating closely with media agencies and internal stakeholders to maximize ROI and media effectiveness.
  • Collaboration & Best Practices:
    • Partner with regional and local teams to enhance RBI's capabilities in integrated communication strategy, defining and coaching best practices across media channels.
    • Collaborate with media agencies, digital platforms, and regional teams to enhance digital creative, fostering innovation in markets.
  • Consumer Decision Journey (CDJ):
    • Translate guest insights into actionable communication strategies by developing relevant CDJ frameworks across key media audiences.
  • Global Partnerships:
    • Develop strategic partnerships and joint business plans with key media and digital platforms.
    • Collaborate with Tech, Procurement, and Marketing to optimize relationships with global media agencies and digital/tech partners.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • 15+ years of experience in media management, with a strong expertise in both media and digital functions at global, regional, and local levels.
  • Proven experience with blue-chip global companies, with previous experience in the FMCG industry on both client and agency sides.
  • Previous experience with Social Media Marketing is advantageous.
  • Deep understanding of evolving technological needs in media (martech, adtech) and media buying platforms, particularly programmatic.
  • Track record of developing and executing integrated communication programs globally, regionally, and locally.
  • Extensive experience managing cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations.
  • Strong capability in managing strategic partnerships with agencies and digital partners, including media pitching.
  • Thought leadership and strategic thinking, with experience presenting to and influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to identify target audiences and develop strategies to engage, inform, and drive brand growth.
  • Excellent communication, strategic, and analytical skills, with strong people management experience.
  • Fluent in English; open to global travel.
