Job Title: Senior Director, Global Mission Integration – Defense and Intelligence

As a key member of the Global Defense & Security team at Oracle, you will collaborate with architects, product managers, and sales leads to position Oracle as a customer-focused company that delivers exceptional value to Defense and Intelligence organizations. Your deep understanding of industry trends will maximize Oracle's opportunities within a broader context while effectively communicating Oracle's value across our diverse product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and influence strategic initiatives across global Defense customers by sharing expertise on Oracle technology applications in Defense and Security activities.
  • Leverage operational experience in combined and joint (multi-domain) operations to enhance customer-centric engagement in all Defense interactions.
  • Articulate the commercial application of technology across Defense and facilitate procurement pathways and future capability development in collaboration with partners.
  • Demonstrate industry-leading engagement with Defense stakeholders.
  • Showcase the best technical capabilities integrated across U.S. and Allied missions.
  • Build and extend relationships with clients in leading Defense & Security organizations, connecting with executives across various functions and roles.
  • Collaborate closely with Oracle Sales leads to identify and develop opportunities within strategic Defense & Security industry clients.
  • Lead the development of go-to-market strategies in conjunction with Client Directors.
  • Drive larger, higher-quality bids to enhance penetration in strategic clients within the Defense Industry.
  • Support multi-LOB bid and engagement teams with senior experts from sales, pre-sales, consulting, and solution architecture in shaping the largest technology opportunities.
  • Identify, create, and lead strategic engagements with key Defense & Security clients to increase client satisfaction and enhance opportunities for Oracle.
  • Prepare and deliver thought-provoking executive proposals to foster long-term business relationships with customers.
  • Continually evolve and innovate to introduce new investment ideas and areas of potential growth.
  • Facilitate cross-functional discovery sessions to identify and prioritize critical business value drivers.
  • Create thought leadership content on cloud benefits, industry solutions, and related topics.
  • Act as a Global Defense subject matter expert in account planning sessions and quarterly business reviews.
  • Develop specific collateral and thought leadership materials, including white papers, data sheets, and social media posts, illustrating how Oracle delivers value in Defense.
  • Maintain a customer-centric mindset by prioritizing clients’ definitions of success and building relationships based on their challenges rather than solely our solutions.
  • Provide valuable market insights regarding client operations and decision-making processes.
  • Exhibit outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, structuring complex issues, forming hypotheses, and presenting well-supported solutions.

Based in Switzerland, you should be prepared to travel across Europe as needed.
