Job Opportunity: Senior Director, Global Mission Integration – Defense and Intelligence

As the Senior Director for Global Mission Integration in Defense and Intelligence, you will be a pivotal member of the Global Defense & Security team. This role involves collaboration across the entire business, partnering with architects, product managers, and sales leads to position Oracle as a customer-focused company that adds significant value to Defense and Intelligence organizations. Your deep understanding of industry trends will be instrumental in maximizing Oracle's opportunities within the broader landscape while effectively articulating our value proposition across our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and influence strategic initiatives across global Defense customers by leveraging expertise in the application of Oracle technology across all facets of Defense and Security.
  • Utilize operational experience in combined (allied) and joint operations (multi-domain) to enhance customer-centric approaches in all Defense engagements.
  • Articulate the application of commercial technology within the Defense sector and broader procurement pathways, as well as future capability development forums.
  • Engage effectively with the Defense industry, showcasing best practices in technical capabilities and highlighting their integration across U.S. and Allied missions.
  • Develop and foster relationships with leaders at prominent Defense & Security organizations, connecting with executives across multiple functions and roles.
  • Work collaboratively with Oracle Sales leads to identify and develop opportunities within strategic Defense & Security Industry clients.
  • Lead the development of go-to-market strategies in conjunction with Client Directors.
  • Drive larger, high-quality bids to increase penetration within strategic Defense Industry clients.
  • Support multi-line-of-business (LOB) bid and engagement teams by collaborating with senior experts from sales, pre-sales, consulting, and solution architecture to shape and drive significant technology opportunities.
  • Create and lead strategic engagements with key Defense & Security clients to enhance client satisfaction and foster better opportunities for Oracle.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling executive proposals aimed at engaging customers in long-term business relationships.
  • Continuously innovate and propose new ideas for investment and emerging areas of potential.
  • Facilitate cross-functional discovery sessions to identify and prioritize essential business value drivers.
  • Author thought leadership content regarding cloud benefits, industry solutions, and other relevant topics.
  • Serve as a global defense subject matter expert during account planning sessions and quarterly business reviews.
  • Develop and create specific collateral and thought leadership materials, including white papers, data sheets, and social media content that demonstrate how Oracle delivers value in Defense.
  • Maintain a customer-centric mindset, recognizing that 'the customer defines their success' by focusing on their challenges rather than our solutions.
  • Provide critical market insights regarding client operations and decision-making processes.
  • Exhibit outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrate an exceptional ability to structure complex problems, develop hypotheses, and present well-supported solutions.

Location and Travel

This position is based in Switzerland and may require travel across Europe.
