You will lead the accounting, controlling, and financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions for the Animal Nutrition and Health (ANH) Vitamin Unit. In addition, you will manage financial operations in a multinational environment, working closely with the CFO to shape and execute the company's financial strategy.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Steer and control the execution of policies and plans, safeguarding the realization of these plans by managing, monitoring, and controlling financial and accounting processes.
  • Monitor the business and financial performance of Vitamins and provide the management team with timely information to ensure decisions are based on the right data.
  • Oversee financial controlling processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
  • Work closely with the CFO and Vitamins VP to establish insightful management reporting.
  • Liaise with Digital & Tech and the business community to ensure that financial and business reporting tools provide valuable insights.
  • Evaluate all major projects for financial soundness and alignment with approved strategies, challenging responsible business management as necessary.
  • Partner with the Vitamins VP to define and implement actions for cash flow optimization.
  • Drive performance improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize financial results.

You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred); additional professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing FP&A, accounting, and financial reporting functions in a multinational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and partnering with senior leadership on strategic initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and international accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP).
  • Expertise in financial reporting, accounting, data analysis, and business performance metrics, along with advanced proficiency in financial software (ERP systems, Excel, financial reporting tools).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven capability in leading change by identifying necessary adjustments and challenging assumptions and norms.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences. High level of integrity and business acumen, complemented by a strong strategic mindset.
