Core Responsibilities
As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for the following:
- Developing and implementing capital outlay for the region alongside the senior management team, driving Capex optimization. Ensure that LDPs align with company strategy, incorporating Sail27 into the Capex plan and execution. Focus on COM and Carlsberg Excellence foundations, as well as our Decarbonization strategy and business needs, including product portfolio changes, addressing regional asset obsolescence, maintaining brewery infrastructure, and ensuring business continuity through asset risk management.
- Driving the closure of performance gaps and fostering continuous improvement of Engineering KPIs through the effective application of Carlsberg Excellence Methodologies. This includes optimizing engineering costs and operations, enhancing automation and operational technology (OT) practices, and reviewing best practices and failures with the goal of consistently improving cost and performance.
- Ensuring that business-driven needs for new materials, technologies, and equipment are effectively and efficiently integrated into operations for new product introductions.
- Being present on the shop floor, prioritizing personal engagement in Gemba Walks, coaching, mentoring, and collaborating with shop floor colleagues regularly.
- Strongly supporting capability building within core shop floor teams, ensuring the transfer of Early Equipment Management knowledge, problem-solving skills, and cost ownership.
- Contributing to the development of the regional ISC strategy as part of the regional ISC leadership team.
- Driving and deploying Group/Regional EHS strategy within the engineering function.
- Ensuring that all Carlsberg standard methods, tools, and processes are implemented in compliance with regional and global agreements.
- Actively participating in the regional and global engineering best practice community.
- Developing local and regional engineering teams in the areas of project management and operational technology (OT), fostering the progression of competencies and skills in line with company guidelines and the agreed ISC vision.
