Core Responsibilities
As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for a range of critical functions, including:
- Developing and implementing capital outlay for the region alongside the senior management team, focusing on capital expenditure (Capex) optimization. You'll ensure that the Local Development Plans (LDPs) align with the company's strategy and that initiatives like Sail27 are incorporated into the Capex plan. This includes addressing commercial needs, managing product portfolio changes, and ensuring business continuity while mitigating asset risks.
- Driving performance improvement by addressing gaps in Engineering KPIs. You will apply Carlsberg Excellence methodologies to optimize engineering costs and operations, automate processes, and review best practices to foster continuous enhancement of cost and performance.
- Leading the effective introduction of new materials, technologies, and equipment into operations, ensuring they align with business-driven needs and contribute to the development of innovative products.
- Engaging with shop floor colleagues through regular Gemba Walks, coaching, and mentoring, prioritizing personal interaction to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Supporting capability building of core shop floor teams by facilitating the transfer of Early Equipment Management knowledge, problem-solving techniques, and fostering cost ownership initiatives.
- Contributing to the development of the regional Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) strategy as a key member of the regional ISC leadership team.
- Driving and deploying Group/Regional Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) strategies within the engineering function, ensuring compliance and best practices are followed.
- Implementing all Carlsberg standard methods, tools, and processes according to regional and global agreements.
- Actively participating as part of the regional and global engineering best practice community to share knowledge and enhance operational efficiency.
- Developing local and regional engineering teams in the areas of project management and operational technology (OT) in line with company guidelines. You will help advance competencies and skills in line with our agreed ISC vision.
