RA Scale AG is a pioneering ETH Zurich spin-off that specializes in developing an AI-powered SaaS platform aimed at automating tenders and supplier selection within the construction industry. Based in Zurich, our team of approximately 20 professionals is currently expanding its reach into Germany and Austria.
Job Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and further develop the cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) for our SaaS platform.
- Plan and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, TeamCity, or ArgoCD).
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system stability.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers and data scientists to optimize performance.
- Take responsibility for the security, scalability, and reliability of productive systems.
- Contribute to architecture and design decisions in close coordination with the CTO.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in DevOps or cloud engineering (AWS or GCP).
- Solid knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
- Experience in building and operating microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker), event-driven architectures, and monitoring tools.
- Programming skills in Python, Bash, or Node.js are an advantage.
- Experience in leading or coordinating small engineering teams is preferred.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure security and cloud governance.
- Proficient in English (working language), with German as a plus.
Terms of Employment
- Permanent full-time position (100%).
- Location: Zurich (Sihlcity) or remote (within Europe).
- Start date: Flexible, by agreement.
