Your Role
Are you eager to design, build, and integrate captivating digital products and services? We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to:
- Design, develop, and enhance the digital products and technology services we offer to our clients and employees.
- Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by adhering to our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, assist in resolving incidents, and address the root causes of risks and issues.
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to foster a collaborative environment.
Your Team
You will be working in the POD Modern Technologies (area "Improve the Bank") in Zürich.
Your Expertise
Must-haves:
- Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science.
- 10+ years of experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or Senior Software Engineer.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Actions Management within the finance sector.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with the following S&P Global standard applications: IMActions, IMBridge, IMTest, IMDashboard, IMProxy, IMConfigure, IMArchival.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and practices, leverage strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present and create technical documentation.
- Experience and in-depth knowledge of: Linux/Unix, Python, GitLab, CI/CD, Shell Scripting, Ansible, IBM MQ, Oracle DB & SQL, Java, Azure, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, JMS, Apache Webserver, and Tomcat Web Container.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves:
- Kotlin, Maven, Elastic, Logstash, Perl, .dun & .rpm packages.
- Basic German (A2).
