Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance the digital products and technology services we offer to our clients and employees.
- Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, assist in resolving incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues.
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, helping to foster a collaborative environment.
Your Team
You will be part of the POD Modern Technologies team (focused on "Improve the Bank") based in Zürich.
Your Expertise
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science.
- 10+ years of experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or Senior Software Engineer.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Actions Management within the finance sector.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with the following S&P Global standard applications: IMActions, IMBridge, IMTest, IMDashboard, IMProxy, IMConfigure, IMArchival.
- A strong interest in learning new technologies and practices, reusing strategic platforms and standards, evaluating options, and making decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.
- A strong communicator, adept at delivering presentations and technical writing.
- Experience and deep knowledge of: Linux/Unix, Python, GitLab, CI/CD, Shell Scripting, Ansible, IBM MQ, Oracle DB & SQL, Java, Azure, Springboot, Springbatch, JMS, Apache Webserver, and Tomcat Webcontainer.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Kotlin, Maven, Elastic, Logstash, Perl, .dun & .rpm packages.
- Basic German (A2).
